Annual Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen Competition is scheduled for January 15-17, 2010. Deadline to enter is Friday, November 6, 2009.

The 6th Annual Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen competition is open to all residents or full time students in the State of New Hampshire who meet the eligibility requirements set out below. There is no entry fee, but there is a $100.00 seat deposit that will be refunded to you as long as you appear in the competition. The winner of New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen competition will compete in Miss America's Outstanding Teen Program, which will include an August 20, 2010 arrival in Orlando through Sunday August 29, 2010. Eligibility requirements:

• Must be at least 13 by January 15, 2010 (the first day of the Miss NH's Outstanding Teen Program).


• Live or attend school full time in New Hampshire since the beginning of this academic year (August 2009) -- by special permission of the MAOTeen organization.


• Be no older than 17 years of age on August 31, 2010.


• Be a United States Citizen.


• Must not be eligible to compete on the Miss level in the Miss America Program at any point during the current Pageant Year. Call Miss NH Office at 437-9027 if you have questions.


• Meet the character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Outstanding Teen Organization.


• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen Program and should you win, be able to travel with your mother or other assigned traveling companion to Orlando Florida in August of 2010 to compete for the national title.

Timeframe for NH's Outstanding Teen competition: Friday interviews and on-stage rehearsals begin on Friday, January 15, 2010. In order to accommodate class schedules, we do not begin interviews until approximately 5:00 p.m. on Friday, but report time to the school is 3:00 p.m.
